... respondents widely hailed supportive managers as the top factor in choosing an employer. 63 percent of respondents chose supportive managers in the study that took place in early 2005, while 54 percent cited family and domestic assistance as the top factor.

Companies will have to consider these factors as new workers enter the marketplace. The Harvard Business Review cites US Department of Education studies showing that women with advanced degrees will increase in number by approximately 16%, compared to only a 1.3% increase in male graduates.
